Great news and enrolments for Term 3

Hi everyone!

P1040773If you haven’t heard already, I am extremely proud to announce that our swimming pool won a Gold Award at the recent SPASA WA (Swimming Pool and Spa Association of WA – the peak industry body for the swimming industry) 2015 Award Ceremony. This award is for the pool design and the challenges that needed to be overcome to build the pool. For instance, our pool is virtually above ground on solid rock at the top of a hill!  This required special engineering to make sure that this is where it stays!  Also, as it has been designed for teaching, there are particular features that I required, like my teaching ledge. Anyway, when you are next here, please look through the SPASA magazine I have left in the change room so you can admire the award for yourself!!

The longest term of the year has nearly ended, which means it is time to start thinking about Term 3. I have had feedback from a couple of people that the pool has been a little cool. I have taken this on board and increased the water temperature. I am sure this will be even more appreciated as we come into July and August 🙂 The permanent roof and blinds will also be installed over the school holidays, so when you come back, the pool will look different again – but we will have the permanent solution!

I am currently planning the Term 3 timetable and would be most grateful if you could let me know if you are re-enrolling and whether your availability has changed for next term. I would like to get this finalised by the end of this week, please. As usual, I require a $50 deposit to be paid to secure your place by the end of this term and the balance of fees to be paid by Week 2 of Term 3 please.

Also, just to let you know that existing students always get first preference to times and days. I already have a wait list for term 4, but if you are enrolled in term 3 you will always get first dibs!

Kind regards,

Cathy
